The Brunswick County Democratic Party (BCDP) is proud of the excellent work charitable and advocacy groups perform every day in Southeastern North Carolina. Their services and accomplishments deserve our continuing attention, gratitude, and support.
That’s why BCDP is pleased to announce its first annual Community Heroes EXPO, an event to promote the work of charitable and advocacy organizations in our area. We’re making our Bolivia headquarters (1420 Old Ocean Hwy, Bolivia, 28422) available to non-profit groups to help them share their goals and achievements.
To be held on September 23, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., the Community Heroes EXPO is a great way to introduce the public to the wide range of services our county’s non-profit community provides.
More than two dozen organizations have agreed to take part in the EXPO. They’ll have an opportunity to advertise their activities, recruit new volunteers from an excellent base of publicly minded citizens, and educate our community about their missions, services, and accomplishments.
The event is free and open to the public. It’s our way of showing our appreciation for the work non-profits are doing on behalf of all Brunswick County residents.
