The 6th Annual BCDP/SOBAD Golf Tournament on Sunday, May 21 at Carolina National was a resounding success, with 110 golfers and 30 additional guests joining us for the Awards Luncheon. The weather held, and a good time was had by all!
Special thanks to Frank Herzog, former “Voice of the Washington Redskins,” for emceeing the awards ceremony; Jill Hopman, Chair of the New Hanover Co. Democratic Party (NHCDP) for being our guest speaker; Sam Pierce, 1st Vice Chair of NHCDP for joining us; and all of our generous sponsors and donors for their support! Thank you to Mark Allen, Tournament Director, the BCDP Golf Committee, and Director Emeritus Neil Gilbert, for organizing another successful event. They raised close to $10,000 for BCDP!

First prize for the raffle was $1455. Second prize was $873 and third prize was $582.
