A message from the chair about our Community Heroes EXPO

Many of us have given careful thought to volunteering for charitable or advocacy groups that need our support and expertise. We’re fortunate that Brunswick County has an abundance of organizations offering helping hands to our community. But that can make finding one that suits us difficult.

The Brunswick County Democratic Party is pleased to help make your choices easier and more fulfilling. On Saturday, October 11th, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., we're holding our third annual Community Heroes EXPO featuring representatives from over 20 non-profit organizations in southeastern NC. 

We have many organizations participating for the first time this year. Groups involved with health, child and family services, education, the environment, animal rescue, voting, and more will be inside our party headquarters (1420 Old Ocean Hwy, Bolivia) to explain their missions and seek your participation.

It’s like a job fair for volunteers — and you’re invited!

Please plan on attending this event. Let’s show these wonderful organizations that the Brunswick County Democratic Party and our allies support the great work they do for all of us. We’re counting on your help to make it a success.
