Venezuela, Cuba and Iran have two things in common. Trump promised to rebuild them — and they’re not the United States.
Trump spent billions removing Venezuela’s president Maduro, then said, “I’m Venezuela’s biggest fan. We’re working with them to improve a disastrous situation. We will make Venezuela strong again.”
Trump’s Department of Energy pledged to: “improve the electricity grid, which is essential to increasing oil production, economic opportunity and the daily quality of life for the Venezuelan people.”
Trump pressured American oil companies to “spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure, the oil infrastructure. Let’s start making money for the country!”
Trump called Cuba “a failing nation.” He delegated Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a Cuban-American, to lead negotiations. “Maybe we’ll have a friendly takeover of Cuba,” Trump said, which will be “very positive” for the Cuban people. “They have no money. They have no oil, they have no food, they want our help,” said Trump.
13 Americans have died in Trump’s regime change war against Iran. The Pentagon just asked Congress for $200 billion more to fund Trump’s war of choice. When it ends, Trump said, America “will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before. IRAN WILL HAVE A GREAT FUTURE. “MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!)”
When he ran for president, Trump said, “nation-building and regime change is a proven absolute failure” and promised, “If I become president, the era of nation-building will be brought to a very swift and decisive end.”
Feeling betrayed because you voted “MAGA” but got “MIGA?” Think Trump should rebuild America instead of everyone else? You’re not alone. Marjorie Taylor Greene said, “it feels like the worst betrayal because it comes from the very man we all believed was different.” Joe Rogan called it “insane based on what he ran on. This is why a lot of people feel betrayed.”
