North Carolina District 17 needs new representation in our General Assembly. For the past 17 years Frank Iler has been our representative. Mr. Iler is now 84-years-old and it’s time for new representation.
Overdevelopment and lack of infrastructure are two problems that are most concerning to local residents. They should be made aware that 40% of Mr. Iler’s campaign donations are from realtors, construction companies and such. Although 75% of North Carolina children attend public schools, Mr. Iler has supported diverting needed funding to private school vouchers. Those voucher funds are given with no oversight!
There is now a new and outstanding alternative to Mr. Iler. That is Dennis Breen. Mr. Breen is a resident of Carolina Shores. He is a lawyer and was once named one of America’s top 100 attorneys. Mr. Breen is semi-retired but is an active member of his community. He coaches inmates at the Brunswick County jail regarding job-hunting.
Mr. Breen will work for improved infrastructure, controlled development, better schools, cleaner water, individual rights and the things Brunswick County residents want and need! Please consider Dennis Breen.
