Letter to the editor: Hardly making America great, Brunswick Beacon

The crudeness and authoritarianism coming from this administration is a cringing embarrassment. The president was voted in to Make America Great Again and instead is wreaking havoc and uncertainty among our institutions and allies. He was not voted in to destroy democracy which, by its nature, allows the people through their legislative representatives to run the country. The President ADMINISTERS what is LEGISLATED. Instead, he intimidates and threatens the legislature so members abscond from their responsibilities and kowtow out of fear. This makes him a bully and a thug. Hardly a hero; hardly making America great.
