Community, collaboration, and connections: BCDP's 3rd annual Heroes EXPO shines

Updated: 32m

Thank you to all who helped to make the Brunswick County Democratic Party’s Third Annual Community Heroes EXPO a success! The ~20 amazing non-profit and advocacy groups, the guests who attended, and our BCDP volunteers didn't let the rain dampen their spirits on Saturday, October 11.

Many of the organizations were new to us this year, and they expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share their missions, sign up volunteers, and network with each other. Some fruitful connections were formed, and plans were made to collaborate. It was an uplifting day to visit with so many groups who do so much for the people of Brunswick County!

BCDP will be featuring some of our heroes at future county meetings.
