Tropical Storm Ophelia didn’t dampen the spirits of our heroes or guests on Saturday at Brunswick County Democratic Party headquarters in Bolivia. A steady stream of visitors came out to talk with 23 local charitable and advocacy groups about their missions and services.
We learned about organizations in Brunswick County that address literacy, mental health, human trafficking, family assistance, voting (non-partisan), animal rescue, child advocacy, the environment, gun violence, women's rights, breast cancer, addiction, health, the environment, progressive causes, and more!
