Q. WHERE CAN I FIND ANSWERS TO GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT VOTING IN BRUNSWICK COUNTY?

A. North Carolina offers in-person early voting. No excuse is needed to vote early. Early voting begins on the second Thursday of the month before the election and ends on the last Saturday before the election.

 

The Brunswick County website has answers to several questions about voting. Additional information is available at youcanvote.org and the website for the League of Women Voters of Lower Cape Fear.

 

Q. WHERE CAN I FIND ONE STOP EARLY VOTING INFORMATION FOR BRUNSWICK COUNTY?

A. The Brunswick County website has a special tab for one-stop, pre-Election Day voting.

 

Q. HOW CAN I VOTE BY MAIL?

A. Information on voting by mail is available at the North Carolina Democratic Party website.

 

 

Q. WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ON ABSENTEE VOTING?

A. Instructions on absentee voting are available at the North Carolina State Board of elections website. The site includes an absentee ballot request form with instructions on how to complete it.

 

 

Q. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT CONTESTS AND CANDIDATES ARE ON THE BALLOT? 

A. Once sample ballots are available for an election, you can find yours by looking up your voter record.
