A fundraiser for Charles Graham (speaking, above) was held at the St. James home of Rex and Nancy Simmons on Thursday, August 4. The standing room-only crowd of about 50 guests heard energizing speeches from an outstanding field of Democratic candidates:
Charles Graham, current six-term NC General Assemblyman, running for the U.S. House of Representatives for District 7 (including Brunswick County)
Eric Terashima, retired Marine Colonel running for the North Carolina General Assembly, House, to represent Brunswick County (District 17)
Judge Quintin McGee, appointed by Governor Cooper and running to keep his District Court judicial seat (District 13, serving Brunswick, Bladen, and Columbus Counties)
