I have used this space over the last year or so to try to make those who don’t attend our meetings aware of what the Brunswick County Democratic Party is doing.
Not this month.
In a few weeks, this election will be history — good or bad. People have asked what they can do, and we’ve worked to include them in our campaign. But in the era of COVID-19, the world as we know it has changed. Now, the only thing everyone can do is get your neighbors and friends to vote. Vote for a government that’s not run by a clown with a three-ring circus in the background.
We need you at the polls as greeters (at a distance of course) to make our material available to voters. Nothing else left but that. You will also be watching for behavior that is not allowed by law from those on the other side of the aisle.
To help voters exercise their right to vote, to keep that franchise available to them as citizens, it’s time to help us defeat this president and his cronies.
Help us stand up to what you and I know is wrong. Now! There will be no going back if we lose. Get to work! We need you.
