2019 SOBAD Golf Tournament

The 3rd ANNUAL SOBAD GOLF OUTING is fast approaching! The date is Sunday, August 25, 2019 and will be held at Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club in Sunset Beach. If you have not already done so, get your teams together to compete for “bragging rights” and prizes.  

Will Shingletree 1 or Mosquito 1 be the winner of this year's SOBAD Cup or will one of Brunswick County's 24 other precincts enter the most players in the year's largest fundraiser for the Brunswick County Democratic Party? Last year the SOBAD raised over $8,000.00 for our Brunswick County Democratic candidates and this year we are looking to pass the $10,000.00 mark. 

Teams from all over Brunswick County have already submitted their entry forms and this year we are getting numerous entries from different parts of North Carolina as well as HORRY County in South Carolina. The SOBAD has become more than just a County event as it is getting statewide recognition from candidates and players from all over the Tar Heel State. So don't be late in submitting your entry forms as we are capping registration at 120 players. 

  Cost to enter the SOBAD is $75.00 and that includes golf, cart, range balls, catered lunch from Mission Barbecue in North Myrtle Beach, and loads of prizes. Download ENTRY FORMS and HOLE SPONSOR FORMS.
