2023 Education Grant

TO:                  WOMEN STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A COMMUNITY COLLEGE CURRICULUM PROGRAM

FROM:             BRUNSWICK COUNTY DEMOCRATIC WOMEN (BCDW)

SUBJECT:        $1000 EDUCATION GRANT FOR 2023

 

Democrats believe that everyone should be able to earn a degree beyond high school, if they choose to, without money standing in the way.  Education is fundamental to the idea of America and to fulfilling our nation’s promise.

 

Women students currently enrolled in a community college are invited to apply for a $1000 education grant. 

The grant will be awarded during the Spring 2023 to a woman student who:

  • Has completed one semester (minimum of 6 credit hours)

  • Is in good academic standing

  • Is Brunswick County resident

  • Is a registered Democrat

  •  

Applications must be received between 3/7/23 and 4/30/23

 

HOW TO APPLY

  • Obtain a copy of this 2023 grant ‘Notice’ with eligibility requirements and an application:

    • Online at   www.brunswickdem.org   either on Home page or hover over ‘About Us,’ click on BCDW and see Ed Grant

    • Email request for a printable copy to bcdwedgrant01@gmail.com

    • Call Maria Riccobono for help at (910) 477-6460

  • Complete and return completed application:

    • Online: complete application online and submit. 

    • Print a copy of the application from the website above. Fill out legibly and mail to:

  • Complete and submit current degree audit:

    • Separately from grant application, submit your degree audit through your community college’s method or application.
